The Fair Work Commission has decided on a 5.75% increase to both the Modern Award Minimum Wages and the National Minimum Wage.
The high cost of living & constant inflation on everyday items has resulted in this substantial increase this year.
The Modern Awards will increase from 1 July 2023 including:
General Retail Industry Award 2020
Restaurant Industry Award 20220
Fast Food Industry Award 2020
Clerks - Private Sector Award 2020
Hair and Beauty Industry Award 2020
